Spending time on Pasir Puteh is no longer like few years ago. Food, clothes, everything has raised its price. Imagine you can get a packet of rice for RM1.50, now RM3... Well, biasalah, this is what we call Malaysia ma.
Talking about my old friends. Still the old faces, and old slangs. The biggest difference is just, everyone learned to smoke - and it scares me for the first time.
I was known that one of my friend (aka big head), he didnt take any vegie, meat, anything other than rice or roti canai since he was in kindergarden (amazing, doesn't it?) . Everytime we went to malay cafe, he order 2 bowl of plain rice with some specific spice and sauce; when we stop at mamak, he order roti bom (roti canai with butter in it) . And he is much more taller than me >,<>
Kelantan have not much things to play. We chit chat everyday, go relaxation park everyday, smoke everyday (not me of course!) . And we sleep at midnight, wake up at noon - the weather is so cool during year end.
25th December 2009, 7 am. I reached Selangor ( i wonder where KTM brought me) and aunty brought me back as soon as i reached there along with my grandma and little cousin (a she). Taking Pork Meat Mee (directly translated from cantonese) - my first experience, don't ask me how is it, i can't tell.
KLCC. Don't tell me you don't know this place. My cousins spend the whole afternoon at the so damn wide playground (or park) behind KLCC where me myself explore the whole KLCC on my own foot with the help of the portable mini map browser available at counter.
Few days later, we have a little gathering at my aunt's house where we called Puncak Jalil. She called her friend (a man - together with his family - a wife, 2 sons, and a daughter all together 5 in one) for the bbq party. When we ask them to try the laksa (this laksa is not penang laksa, it is called kelantan laksa - no sour taste, just kunyit and santan), they said they are fulled already; but when the BBQ starts, !@#$% they sit near the little stove from 8pm to 11pm nonstop, taking most of our well-prepared chicken wings. Those our relatives from kelantan just sit in the living room watching the so damned boring tv programmes - no choice, others snatched their place...
One day later i went to my another aunty house (just now was my mum's sister, and now is my dad's sis), and of course by my dad's car. His company lend him a quite well maintain snow white MyVi. My this aunty house, have a total 5 computer ( one desktop PC and the others are all laptops) normally do not shut down even once in 24 hours. I spend 3 days there and left with my own stupid reason - boring - 10 hours PPS prison break a day.
31 December 2009. 1 utama watching live firework. We have altogether 3 different spots of fireworks in our sight. Me and my family stand in front of petrol station,on the roadside contracting our neck muscle for a total of 9 minutes performance. Cheers, 18 now - no more 18sx; condom and sexual activities available.
Time Square. We stopped at the Hang Tuah LRT station and walk to there. Its just like 5 to 10 minutes walking distance. While u walking, pay attention to your right, you will see a 'Fox River' (an old and unavailable prison with a wide field, nice field though). Time Square is just a super giant shopaholics best spending-money spot. Upper floor are theme parks with indoor roller coaster and other thrills rides. RM 32 for an adult fee. WTF.
Putrajaya. Some of the government department moved here. In the central park, the is a flora-based-theme water fountain with all different state's flag surrounding it. A big circular smooth pathway where my cousins like to skate. (Next time you want to skate, call me) And you can see a pair of bridge, steel-made decoration, slightly bend towards normal if compared with penang bridge, at the both the opposite sides. And there is a masjid there, quite huge and colourful. Lower (or under) ground is just a place to enjoy the lake, just in case you never seen a lake before. There are a few motorboat there, charging around 40 to 50 for each person exploring a stupidly empty island. But one thing to say, the lake water isn't that dirty.
Petaling Street, aka Chi Cheong Kai. Best way to explore the taste of malaysian culture is by taking an LRT to Plaza Rakyat and walk there - that is what my aunty said, causing me lost my way to Menara Maybank and wasted 40 minutes energy =,=. Basically those things are all at medium cost, not really as cheap as last few years ago, but the price are all negotiable as long as u speak cantonese and stay calm when u negotiate. One more thing to say, stay cool when you buying pirated dvd because mostly there is a full box of 18sx AV ready to be offered to you @@
