Day 2 - Sungai Petani, Kedah, Malaysia

We started the day at market. Wan Tan Mee for breakfast. Langsung tak kenyang.

There is a white hindu temple. Hee. The temple is very unique. I noticed that the statues are related to animals like snake, elephant and cows. Three-faced and wing-like-cupid statues. Vishnu.

Out of the temple, we discovered white hibiscus in residential area. The first time i saw white hibiscus with my eyes =D

Forgot to mention about the prison. There is a soccer field near the entrance. I wonder the people inside are allowed to play in this compound, that is so closed to the entrance. Kind of remember me of Prison Break. V name the prison, Resort Prison because the prison looks like a resort with nice wall lamps and walls, even with running water in front >_<

On the way back, we pass by another kampung area and discovered a lot of fruit trees. V taught me how to identify rambutan, cempedak, mango and durian trees. We had fun just by looking at the trees. I picked up a starfruit on the floor, peeled the outermost layer and eat. So sweeeet!

We stopped at kopitiam around the corner for Curry Noodle. RM3 for a really big portion. Yummy!

Fish with soy sauce, fried kat-na, fried tofu and taogua, chilli prawns and crystal raddish soup. We helped to prepare the dinner together. Thanks to Chin Yang's mum because Vincent and I really learnt a lot from her.
